reedCharlsie B. Reed, 74, went to be with the lord on Sunday, December 2, 2012, in Stephenville. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 4, from 6pm to 8pm at Davis- Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave., Brownwood. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 5 at 2pm at Davis-Morris Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Charlsie was born on September 13, 1938, in Athens, Texas, to Aubrey Huckabee and Elizabeth Swaine Huckabee. She married Glenn Reed on November 9, 1957, in Dallas and lived in Brown County for over 50 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved web surfing on her computer and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her sons, Frank Reed and his wife Belinda and Mike Reed both of Brownwood; sisters, Faye Cooper of Terrell, Texas, and Marge Harvey of Willspoint, Texas; brother Gerald Huckabee of Trinidad, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; daughter- in- law, Lana Reed; brothers Dan Huckabee, Kenneth Huckabee, and her sister, Sheryl Huckabee. Condolences may be left for the family at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
