Photography Contest Announced for 4th Annual Christmas Under the Stars Festival

FestivalLogo2012The Brownwood Art Association will be seeking entries for the second annual Christmas Photo Contest in conjunction with the 4th annual Christmas Under the Stars Festival.

The photos will be on display at the Lehnis Railroad Museum on Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th from 4-8 p.m. during the Christmas Under the Stars Festival.

Cash prizes for first and second place will be awarded in categories of ages 15 & under, ages 15-20, ages 21 & up, professional, and best “Scared of Santa” photo.    A ribbon will be awarded for People’s Choice as attendees choose their favorite photo during the contest.

There is a $5 fee per entry, and photographs will be accepted at the Lehnis Railroad Museum on Saturday, December 1st from 1-3:30pm.   All photos must be framed with wire or hook and be ready to hang.

The 4th annual Christmas Under the Stars Festival will feature holiday games, crafts, food and attractions for kids of all ages.  The event will take place on Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th from 4-8 p.m. at the Depot Complex, Adams Street Community Center, and the Lehnis Railroad Museum.  Key attractions will include Mr. and Mrs. Claus, ice skating, rock climbing wall, and several holiday themed contests.
