SandersonLaVerneFuneral services for LaVerne Sanderson, 67, of Bangs, will be held at 2 pm on Friday, November 16 in the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM, prior to the service on Friday.

Mrs. Sanderson passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

LaVerne Gray was born on April 20, 1945, in Lubbock, Texas to Jim Gray and Esther Arnold Gray. She was raised and attended school in the Early and Rising Star area and had worked as a beautician in her early years. LaVerne had also worked as a Real Estate agent in Brown County for many years before retiring. She loved music and loved to spoil her “special kids” Nikie and Angel, but most of all, she loved her Lord!

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children Charles “Chuck” Coker and wife Christy, of Marietta, Okla and Donna Watson and husband Dennis of May; one brother, Johnny Gray and wife Sally of Salado; two sister in laws, Arletta Gray of Bangs and Wilma Gray of Brownwood.  She is also survived by six grandchildren Justin Coker, Autumn Watson, Jessica Rae Coker, Wyatt Coker, Harley Hayes and Jacob Hayes, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Esther Gray, and six brothers.
