Wednesday, November 7

*4:00pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Melwood regarding a juvenile problem.  According to the report, two students were fighting on a bus.  Each of the juveniles received citations and was released.

Thursday, November 8

*12:36pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of Main Street regarding the theft of a firearm.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had taken a black Ruger .38 automatic pistol from her vehicle when she took it to a local car wash for a basic clean.  She advised that she keeps the pistol loaded and in a leather zip case and that she did not notice it missing right away because she thought she had possibly left it somewhere else, the report states.

*6:41pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding a missing wallet.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her wallet “went missing” while she was shopping in the store.  It was unclear if the wallet was misplaced or stolen from her person while shopping, the report states.  The wallet contained $500 in cash along with debit cards, the complainant’s driver’s license and social security card, according to police.

Friday, November 9

*1:29am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Avenue I regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a married couple had a physical argument, and the female subject who was injured fled to a neighboring house.  The female stated that her husband, who she had a protective order against, hit and pushed her causing the small laceration above her left eye, the report states.  The husband, identified as 47-year-old Gary Wayne Hale was located and arrested for assault with injury family violence.
