Update: 10:45pm – Final adjustments made for May ISD write-in candidate – top three vote receivers will take places on school board.

Update:  9:10pm – All precincts reporting.  May ISD write-in will have to be hand adjusted for winner of third place to be determined.

Update:  8:30pm – Four of six precincts for BISD Place 4 reporting.  3 of 5 precints for  May ISD reporting.

Update 8:00pm – Two of six precincts for BISD Place 4 reporting.

In addition to the election of the United States president and other races in the general election, two local school board elections for Brownwood ISD and May ISD were the only local contested races.  Other local races are unopposed coming out of the primaries.
Below are results for the Brownwood ISD Place 4 and May ISD school board elections as they are reported from the Brown County Elections Office and are considered unofficial until canvassed and approved.

Early Voting totals were released by the Brown County Elections office at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.    Watch for updated totals as precinct ballot boxes are counted.
