Graveside services for Wynell “Wy” Black are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 7 at Varga Chapel Cemetery in Bowser, Tx.

Mrs. Black passed away on Saturday at her residence.

Wy Black was born in Cuthbert, Tx on May 5, 1934 to Albert Ray Crowder and Wilma Dosier Crowder. She is fondly remembered for loving her grandkids and family and had lived in Brownwood since 2004. She was a Richland Springs Coyote fan and a supporter of 4H. She is survived by a daughter Lisa Hicks and husband Walter of Brownwood, grandchildren Krystal Butler and husband Chad of Brownwood, Jordan Hicks of Brownwood, and Jared Hicks & wife Jessica of Brownwood. Her great grandchildren are Jayden Hicks, Keelee Hicks, Slade Butler, and Raylee Hicks. Mrs.

Black was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Darrell Crowder and Redge Crowder.
