Emergency responders were called to a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon at the intersection of West Commerce and Romines.

The accident, reported around 2:45pm, involved a Mercury passenger car colliding with the driver-side door of a Cadillac passenger car.

The door of the Cadillac was removed by the fire department to help the driver of the vehicle.  That driver was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.  The driver of the Mercury did not report any injuries.

The Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department, and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
