The Corinne T. Smith Animal Center in Brownwood is hosting a pet costume contest and microchipping clinic Saturday, October 27th starting at 2pm.

Entry fee for the contest is $10, no pre-registration needed.  Judging will start at 2:45pm and awards will be given for most creative, best costume, best owner/pet costume combo and cutest pet.

The microchipping clinic will be from 2pm to 4pm.  Regular price is $20 but those entering the costume contest will get their pet chipped for $10.

Snickers will be there in costume to pose for pictures with owners and pets for $5.
