Funeral Services for Cheryl “Sherry” (Kidd) Garret, age 63, of Brownwood, will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood with Lynn Turnbow officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Sherry was born on April 20, 1949 in Brownwood to Alton L. Kidd Sr. and Lillie Mae Holder.

Sherry Kidd Garrett peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family on October 09, 2012. Sherry was preceded in death by her half-brother Gary D. Kidd, a brother Weldon E. Kidd, and beloved cousin Cassi D. Denson.

She is survived by her mother Lillie Mae Holder of Brownwood, her father, Alton L. Kidd Sr. and Edna of Midland, Texas; two sons, Shane A. Stalnacker and Michelle, Danny L. Garrett and Misty, both of Brownwood. She is also survived by two brothers; Alton Lee Kid Jr. and Barbara of Brownwood, Barry L. Kidd Sr. and Kimberly of Buckeye, Arizona; a step-sister, Shelia Masdon and Steve of Granbury, Texas. Sherry is survived by the love of her life, her grandson Chase Garrett Nelson and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

Sherry lived her life loving to laugh, and to care for babies. A child of any age always put a smile on her face.
