The Brownwood Lions held a Sonic Car Hop event Saturday, October 6th at the Sonic Drive-In located on Austin Avenue.  They provided service with a smile during this fundraiser for the Lions Mother’s Club.

Varsity Brownwood Lion football players worked as car hops from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Saturday.   A portion of Sonic’s profit was donated to the Lions Mothers’ Club to help fund activities for the team. All tips given benefited the Lions Mothers’ Club as well. This event also helps raise funds for the annual football banquet in January.

Throughout the day, BHS cheerleaders and Lion Crew members were also present, and KOXE radio broadcasted live from the event.  Spirit items such as shirts, hats, backpacks, stickers and more were sold during the event.
