Friends and family are hosting a brisket plate fundraiser and garage sale benefiting accident victim Timothy Collins this weekend at 612 W. Austin Avenue in Brownwood, next to Smitty’s.  The fundraiser event will be held until 6:00pm Friday, and continue 8:00am-6pm Saturday and 1:00-6:00pm on Sunday.

BBQ plates are available with an $8 or larger donation.  For delivery or to place an order, call 325-200-5076. Proceeds will go toward Timothy’s hospital expenses according to organizers.

Collins was seriously injured in an automobile accident north of Zephyr on September 20th.  All three teens involved in the accident were airlifted to hospitals for treatment of their injuries.  Two of the injured teens have been released from the hospital; however Collins remains hospitalized.   Although he is out of ICU and improving, he has a long recovery ahead according to friends and family.

Support a great cause and enjoy a great meal this weekend by visiting the fundraiser at 612 W. Austin Avenue in Brownwood.
