Members of the VFW and Ladies and Men’s Auxiliary presented a check to Brownwood Municipal Police Association members for proceeds raised from a benefit BBQ lunch recently held on behalf of the Bode family.

The benefit raised $1100 according to Ladies Auxiliary President Jane Masters.

BMPA member Art Shannon accepted the check on behalf of the organization and expressed their appreciation.

“As a member of BMPA, I can say we definitely appreciate this support,” said Shannon.  “This is awesome, I’m sure Dustin will be able to use this.”
