MaryBarnesGreg Dodds, President and CEO of TexasBank Brownwood, is pleased to announce the addition of Mary Barnes to TexasBank Mortgage as Senior Mortgage Loan Officer.  Barnes comes to TexasBank with 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry, and offices at our Camp Bowie location.

Liz Brown, Executive Vice President Mortgage, commented “Mary’s extensive knowledge of mortgage lending will be a valuable asset to TexasBank.  With interest rates at historic lows, we have seen an increase in demand for mortgage loans.  Mary is a perfect addition to allow TexasBank Mortgage to continue to meet the mortgage needs of Brown County residents.”

Mary and her husband, Rudolph Sr., reside in Bangs.  They have 3 adult children, Rudolph Barnes Jr., Kevin Barnes, and Vivian Sullivan and 10 grandchildren. Barnes is the daughter of Reverend L.C. and Vivian Smith of Brownwood.  Mary currently serves as the State Supervisor of Women for Texas Northwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Churches of God in Christ, Inc., and she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jurisdiction.

About her move to TexasBank, Mary said “I am excited about joining TexasBank where we offer low long term fixed rate mortgages with the ability to provide personal service before, during, and after the loan.  If you are paying over 4.5%, now is a great time to come see me about refinancing or purchasing a new home.”
