The Brownwood Art Association announced Christopher Gaston as the People’s Choice award winner at the annual photo contest at the Brownwood Reunion Celebration held September 14-16 at the Art Center in downtown Brownwood.

Gaston’s work entitled “Forest Princess” was the favorite of attendees of the show who voted and determined the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

The photography contest had entrants from all ages and plenty of diverse subject matter.  According to Brownwood Art Association President Melanie Nayor, the exhibit was a lovely event.  There were 41 entries and approximately 75 people visited the exhibit.  The exhibit was held at the Art Center located at 215 Fisk, just a block over from the Reunion festival grounds.
