The Brownwood Art Association hosted the photo contest again this year at the 2012 Brownwood Reunion Celebration. The opening reception was held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday and the show will be open for Reunion weekend.  The contest included three age group categories, 8-14, 15-20, and 21 and up.

The People’s Choice award will be given to the photographer who gets the most votes from the public. The award will be decided on and announced Sunday afternoon after the public has had a chance to vote.

The exhibit is on display at the Art Center 215 Fisk Avenue, and will be open on Saturday from 12:00-5:00pm, and on Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm.

8-14:

2^nd Amanda White, A Sunlit Creek in George Town, TX

3^rd Zoe Brown, Settler’s Barn

15-20:

1^st Jayden Stewart, FDR Memorial Waterfall

21 and Up:

1^st Christopher Gaston, Forest Princess

2^nd Miranda Benefield, Knotted Pine

3^rd Gail Croft, Granddaughter
