Northwest Elementary held a Neighborhood Reading Party with a patriotic theme in light of Patriots Day on Tuesday, September 11th.  Parents, teachers, students and others from around the neighborhood gathered while the Pledge of Allegiance was recited by Northwest Elementary Principal Candace Wilson.

Following the pledges and selections of patriotic music, Assistant Principal Jerry Jones read aloud a selection of books about America and what it means to be an American.
