Emergency responders were called to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 4th Street and Coggin Avenue Sunday evening sending one man to the hospital.

Approximately 5:50pm, a Chevy Trailblazer collided with a black Pontiac at the stop sign on 4th Street.

The Pontiac received damage on the back driver’s side quarter panel and its driver was out walking around shortly after the accident; however he was transported to the hospital for evaluation of possible injuries according to witnesses on scene.  The Trailblazer suffered damage to its front passenger wheel.  Its driver was reported to be uninjured.

Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department, and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
