In observance of the Labor Day holiday, Brownwood City Hall will be closed and there will be collection of residential waste on Monday, September 3rd.  Residents with blue or green carts, please note collection days as follows:  Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday; Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday; and Thursday’s and Friday’s routes will not be affected by the holiday.

The Brownwood Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday, during normal business hours.   Call the Brownwood sanitation department at 643-4200 for any questions.

Early City Hall will also be closed on Monday, September 3rd in observance of Labor Day.  Monday’s and Tuesday’s trash routes in Early will be picked up on Tuesday, September 4th.   Early residents can call 643-5451 for more information.
