Harold Wayne Mersiovsky

Harold Wayne Mersiovsky age 65 of Temple died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at his home.  He was born July 11, 1947 in Jarrell, TX to William and Naomi (Dutschmann) Mersiovsky.

Harold married Martha “Marti” Taylor on August 21, 1971 in Brownwood, TX.  He proudly served in the Texas National Guard for 10 years. He moved to Temple 38 years ago from Brownwood. He is a graduate of Salado High school, a member of Elks Lodge #138, and worked for UPS for 20 years and retired in 2007.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Daniel Mersiovsky.

He is survived by his wife Marti, his son Paul Mersiovsky and wife Sharon of Little Elm, TX., 2 grandchildren Katie and Sean, a brother Stan Mersiovsky of Belton, 3 sisters Susie Frazier of Salado, Ruth Rhea of Jarrell and Barbara Garrett of Belton, 8 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 10:00AM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at The Point located at 514 N. 3rd St. in Temple with Pastor Rick Donaldson officiating.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cancer Research In Memory of Harold Mersiovsky to Scott & White Healthcare Foundation MS-20-S103 (2401 S. 31st St. Temple, TX 76508).

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
