Funeral Services for Paul Thurman Harris, age 81, of Brownwood will be held Friday August 24, 2012 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood with Jerry Leslie officiating. Interment will follow at May Cemetery in May, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. He passed away Sunday August 19, 2012 in Brownwood, Texas. Paul was born on December 05, 1931 in May, Texas to George and Ann (Plumber) Harris.

He married Lorna (George) Harris on April 30, 1966 in Suffolk Snape, England. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years and became a Staff Sergeant, enlisted in Korea, Indonesia, and China. Paul was also a welder, and within the last 20 years worked as a rancher for Don Johnson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by many who loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Lorna (George) Harris; 3 children; Gary Harris of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tracy Hoover of Brownwood, Pricilla Wyatt and husband Will of Abilene; 3 grandchildren; Questie Van Huss of South Carolina, Carter Wyatt of Abilene, Texas, and Finley Wyatt of Abilene, Texas; a brother, John Wilbur Harris and wife Audine of Denton, Texas, 3 sisters; Betty and Jim Guthrie of Gordon, Texas, Wanda and Ron Dupree of Azle, Texas, Dorothy and Dwayne of Early, Texas; also many nieces and nephews, and loved ones.
