EarlyChamberLogoEarly Chamber of Commerce announced a new tourism sign will be unveiled in Early on Thursday.  The information sign with QR Codes for visitors promises to provide a unique experience gathering information about the City of Early and its businesses, according to Early Chamber of Commerce Director Wanda Ferguson.

The new QR Code Visitor Information Center Sign will be maintained by the Early Chamber of Commerce and its unveiling will take place 11:00am Thursday, August 16th at the Early City Hall, located at 960 Early Blvd.

Ferguson states that the new sign will allow visitors to more easily find information about places and things within the city.

“Some of the QR Codes are for ‘Where to Eat’  ‘Where to Stay’  ‘What to See’ ‘About our Lake’ ‘General Info’ and our Facebook Page with the latest happenings,” said Ferguson.  “Use it to view our restaurant menus online and see inside our hotel rooms. See pictures of nearby points of interest and download information about them.”

The public is encouraged to download a free QR Code reader for their smart phone from their app store, and then scan codes to learn more about the area.  The QR Codes can be used by residents and visitors alike to find the “uniqueness of the community.”

For more information, contact the Early Chamber of Commerce at 325-649-9317.
