The Brownwood High School Tennis team started practice this week for the upcoming season. This year the varsity team has 30 players.

Coached by Mark Davis, the players practiced in doubles and singles, and performed practice drills.

“We have a lot of returners this season, we only lost a few seniors,” states Davis. “They are looking good, and this should be a good season.”

The Brownwood Lions Tennis team’s first match will be on August 30th against Killeen Harker Heights in the morning, and against Copperas Cove that afternoon.   A preseason scrimmage will be held in Glen Rose against Alvarado Monday, August 13th at 1:00pm.
