A two-vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Avenue K and 1st Street.  One occupant of a vehicle was reported to have minor injuries.

Approximately 5:30pm, two Chevrolet pickups collided in the intersection; one received damage to its front-end while the other was dented around the rear wheel well.

Although Guardian EMS responded, there were no transports to the hospital.  One of the female  occupants in the tan pickup did complain of leg or ankle pain at the time of the accident and was checked by EMS.

Neighbors gathered as they heard the impact.  This is the second wreck in less than two weeks at that intersection; the last accident resulted in a pickup truck crashing into a house on First Street.

Brownwood Police Department and Brownwood Fire Department also responded to the accident.
