Two people were taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident at the corner of Early Blvd and U.S. Hwy 183N at the traffic light.

First responders were called to the scene around 3:15pm when a grey Ford passenger car struck a red Dodge pickup.  The right southbound lane of U.S. Hwy 183N was closed for about an hour and both vehicles were towed from the scene with heavy damage.

The Early Police Department is investigating the crash.  Brown County Sheriff’s office, Early Volunteer Fire Department, and Guardian EMS also responded to the scene.
