Damage

Two Ford pickup trucks collided near the Brownwood Country Club area Friday afternoon resulting in one vehicle rolling over and its driver being sent to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

According to witnesses on scene, at approximately 1:50pm, an older model Ford pickup was traveling down County Road 225 when its brakes apparently failed causing it to enter traffic on FM 45.  A black 2007 model Ford F-150 was traveling on FM 45 toward US Hwy 377S when it broadsided the out-of-control older model Ford.

The driver of the older Ford was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries at the time of the wreck; however, he was conscious and talking to emergency responders.

Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Chris Delgado investigated the crash and was assisted by Brownwood Fire Department, Brown County Sheriff’s deputies and Guardian EMS who responded to the scene.

Pictured at top are damaged pickup trucks.  Below are more photos of the accident scene.
