One person is dead after a train crashed with an 18-wheeler carrying cattle Thursday evening in Coleman.

According to police, the west-bound train hit the truck, separating the cab from the trailer.

The train dragged part of the truck for a while, eventually bursting into flames.

One person was sent to the hospital and later died from injuries, according to authorities on scene.
No word on if any cattle were injured.
