Thursday, July 26

*8:27am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of 3rd Street regarding found property.  According to the report, a bicycle was left in the parking lot next to the complainant’s home.

*3:37pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle.  According to the report, a man who had been incarcerated for the past 3 years stated that his vehicle had been stolen.  According to the complainant, he had seen an acquaintance of his driving the vehicle in Brownwood and he wished to pursue charges for the theft of his vehicle.  No arrest had been made at the time of the report.

*4:05pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Vine Street regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime between the hours of 9:30pm on July 25th and 12:30 July 26th, an unknown red vehicle had struck her vehicle causing damage to the front right passenger side fender, bumper and hood.  The complaint did wish to pursue criminal charges if a suspect is located.

Monday, July 30

*3:52pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 3900 block of 3rd Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a friend came to visit and while they were talking, his son turned up the radio.  After the complainant asked his son to turn the radio down, the son came into the living room and began shoving the complainant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old John Wesley Spivey for Driving While License Invalid.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Rebecca Leigh Vasquez for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.

Tuesday, July 31

*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Lisa K. Alldredge for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
