Graveside services for Dolly Frances Ratliff Denson will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Zephyr Cemetery Zephyr, Texas. Interment will follow at the cemetery.

Dolly Frances Ratliff Denson was born March 12, 1915 to William J. and Ella Jarrett Ratliff in Mills County, Texas. She passed away Monday July 30, 2012 at a local nursing facility. She was a lifetime resident of Zephyr, where she was a member of the Zephyr Home Demonstration Club and the Zephyr Quilting Club. She was also a member of the Zephyr Baptist Church. She loved to play the piano and organ. Mrs. Denson also loved to paint, quilt, and garden. She and her family were involved in turkey, cattle and sheep ranching.

She is survived by a daughter Rosa and husband Darrell Modgling of Zephyr, grandsons David and wife Kylee Modgling of Mineral Wells, Darwin and wife Patty Modgling of Blanket. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Treyson and Torrie Modgling, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Denson is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and three sisters.
