GoodSamaritainMinistriesLogoTuesday, July 31 marks the end of Good Samaritan Ministries’ Christmas in July fundraising drive. There are still a few days left to donate to the fund that will provide boxes of Christmas food to local friends and neighbors who need a hand through the holidays. Only $25 will provide a box filled with most of the ingredients needed to make a traditional Christmas dinner.

To donate, mail a check to P.O. Box 1134, Brownwood, TX 76804, make a payment online at goodsambwd.org or bring it by 305 Clark Street. Designate your gifts for Christmas in July.

Good Samaritan Ministries can now accept credit card payments in-house.

GSM is also about to wrap up their current contest.  All items for the Good Samaritan Ministries’ Reuse, Repurpose and Refashion contest need to be purchased from the GSM store by Tuesday, July 31. All items created and crafted for the contest need to be turned in to GSM by 1 p.m. Friday, August 3.

If you haven’t had a chance to stop by yet, there’s still time to whip something up. If you’ve already finished your project, bring in your completed creation by 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 to GSM at 305 Clark Street. Judging will begin Monday, Aug. 6.
