TTAB state baseball tournament action continued Tuesday in Brownwood and Early.

Local teams faced off in the TTAB 8U Player Pitch state tournament with the Early Diamondbacks defeating the Early Cardinals 14-6 Tuesday evening.

The Diamondbacks will move on to face the Bosqueville Ghost Riders in the winners’ bracket Wednesday evening while the Cardinals will play the Eastland Lions in the consolation bracket.

It was a rough day for the local teams in the TTAB 14U state tournament held at the Massey Sports Complex in Brownwood on Tuesday with both Brownwood teams suffering a loss.

The Brownwood Flying Squirrels were eliminated from the tournament on Tuesday after an 18-8 loss to the Cameron Red Sox.

The Brownwood Yankees took their first loss of the tournament against the Edgewood Titans 17-0.  The Yankees are now set to play Riesel on Wednesday evening at the Massey Sports Complex.
