CadillacDamage

A head-on collision was reported between two passenger cars on Tuesday night; however, no injuries were reported from the accident.

Around 7:40pm, a gray Cadillac CTS was travelling south in the 3600 block of 1st Street when it veered across the road and struck a parked Chevy Cruze which was parked facing north on the northbound side of the road.  The collision caused the Chevy to be pushed over a curb and into the front yard of a residence, slamming its rear-end into a tree.  The Cadillac ended up in a yard on the opposite side of the road, back on the southbound side of 1st Street.  Both vehicles received heavy damage and were towed from the scene.

The owner of the Chevy and her family had parked in front of a relative’s house just minutes before the accident and were inside visiting when they heard the noise of the impact.  The driver of the Cadillac refused medical attention and was reported to be uninjured.

Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and Guardian EMS responded to the scene of the accident.

Pictured above is the damaged Cadillac.  Below are additional photos of the Chevy and the accident scene.
