Monday, July 2

*7:35pm – Brownwood Police took a report of possible identity theft. The complainant told police that a subject used their identity to open an electric account.

*8:29pm – Brownwood Police responded to a report of a deceased person at a residence on Hemphill St.

Tuesday, July 3

*12:44am – Brownwood Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian.  The victim, a juvenile male, was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.  The victim provided a partial description of a suspect vehicle.  The mother of the victim did not want to pursue criminal charges, the report states.

*Brownwood Police responded to a report of unauthorized use of a debit card in the 300 block of Bluffview.  A suspect has been identified.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 57-year-old Bennie Joe Birmingham of Early for Driving While Intoxicated.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 50-year-old Eddie Tabe Cantu for Driving While Intoxicated.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
