A two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon at the intersection of Main Street and Austin Avenue partially blocked traffic for about 30 minutes.

One passenger car involved in the accident had to be towed from the scene while the other sustained minor damage.  No injuries were reported.

Members of the Brownwood Fire Department directed traffic while the roadway was blocked, and the Brownwood Police Department collected information about the accident.  Officials kept heavy mid-day traffic flowing while working the accident scene.
