Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the BROWN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT will convene on the 2nd day of July, 2012, at 9:00 A. M., in the Brown County Commissioners Courtroom:

A.  Opening Prayer

Reading and approval of Minutes

Recognition of Visitors

Matter of New Business to be presented to the Court for its consideration and action as appropriate. Items may not be taken in the order that they are listed.

1. Joel Kelton, Precinct #2 – Consideration and possible approval of burn ban;

2. Frank Griffin – Consideration and possible approval of temporary employee for employee who will be out on sick leave;

3. Nina Cox – Consideration and possible approval of 2012 Budget Amendments;

4. Brent Bush – Consideration and possible approval of DeltAlert Contracts; discussion of current status of DeltAlert services;

5. Sheriff’s Office – Employee changes;

6. Jule Richmond-Consideration and possible approval regarding increase in flood control structures funds from the County;

7. Richard Gist, Precinct #3 – Consideration and possible approval to advertise for bids for paving and seal coating;

8. Richard Gist, Precinct #3 – Application to install waterline, CR 381 (Old May Road);

9. Ray West – Recognition of the Brown County Historical Society as a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award for outstanding preservation work accomplished in the 2011 year of service;

10. Sheriff’s Office – Consideration and possible approval of paying certification pay and uniform allowance for office deputy;

11. Tax Resale Deeds – Mayra Munoz, Lot 8, Block 2, Highland View Addition
