Former White House National Security Advisor to Speak in San Saba

DrDelTackettDr. Del Tackett, chief spokesperson for  “The Truth Project”, a nationwide initiative designed  to bring the Christian worldview  to the body of Christ is coming to San Saba’s First Baptist Church June 24?27.  Dr. Tackett served more than 20 years in the United States Air Force.  During the George H. W. Bush administration, he served at the White House, where he was appointed by President Bush as the director of technical planning for the National Security Council.

a variety of written works published by Dr. Tackett published include articles in Focus on the Family magazine that address worldview and cultural issues.  He has had several technical articles and manuals published by the U.S. Air Force.

Dr. Tackett will be at San Saba’s First Baptist Church to explore the question, “What is truth?” and address topics such as American Christian heritage and Christian worldview.

Below is a schedule of events to be held at San Saba’s First Baptist Church located at 208 West Wallace Street in San Saba.  For more information, contact San Saba’s First Baptist Church at (325) 372?5761 or go online to www.VisitFBC.org.   All events are open to the public.

  • Sunday, June 24: 9:15 Combined Sunday School 10:30 Worship Service 4:45 Supper catered by Underwood’s Cafeteria 6:00 Service
  • Monday, June 25: 6:00 Service with Ice Cream Floats to follow
  • Tuesday, June 26: 6:00 Service with Pie to follow
  • Wednesday, June 27: 11:00-1:00 Q&A Luncheon (By Reservation) 6:00 Service with watermelon to follow.  Reservations for the luncheon can be made online at www.VisitFBC.org or by contacting the church office at (325) 372-5761.
