Grand Jury Indictments May 2012

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that during the May 2012 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 31 indictments were returned against 28 people.

The District Attorney’s office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk’s office. Also, names are not released of those indicted but not yet arrested due to an indictment being sealed until the time of the arrest.

Travis Wade Long: Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle; Theft Under $20,000 – Tubing, Rods, Wire or Cable; Burglary of a Habitation

Cody Wayne Harrell: Burglary of a Habitation

Antonio Campos: Driving While Intoxicated

Vicente Narvaez, Jr.: Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon

Callista Shiloh Fergason: Assault Against Public Servant

Scott Milton Abernathy: Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, State Jail Felony Enhancement

Sherrod Lawrence Smith: Two Counts Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon

Jody Duvall Burns: Theft of Firearm; Firearms Smuggling
