Bonnie Y. Hagins, age 81, of Blanket, died Monday, May 28 at the Oakridge Manor Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be held at 11AM Thursday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with her son, Ronnie L. Young officiating. Her body was cremated under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.

She was born May 30, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas the daughter of the late Andrew Nolan and Prebble Rowe Johnson. She was married to Robert Hagins on October 10, 1980 in Weatherford, Texas and they had lived in Blanket for the past 6 years moving from Cisco. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert of Blanket

Children – Mark Allen Young of Longmont, Colorado
Teresa Gail Nicklas of Longmont, Colorado
Ronnie Louis Young and wife Lorene of Spring, Texas

Step-children – Terry Hagins and wife Mary of Snyder
Kerry Hagins and wife Rita of Snyder
Teresa Lindsey of Snyder Sister – Shirley Andrew Johnson Adams

19 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren

Brother-in-law, Bernie Hagins and wife Lois of Midland

Sister-in-law, Samie Kingston and husband Bill of Lubbock

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother, William Johnson of Commerce and sisters, Gwen Smithey of Paris, Texas and Gail Mick of Dallas

The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
