One person was airlifted Saturday afternoon after sustaining injuries after they fell out of  a pickup truck near the corner of 14th Street and Avenue K.

Initial reports indicate that a teen fell from the vehicle and sustained a head injury shortly after 1pm Saturday.  AirEvac Lifeteam helicopter landed in the nearby parking lot of Faith Baptist Church to transport the youth to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, according to responders on scene.

Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department, Guardian EMS, and AirEvac Lifeteam responded to the scene.

No other information was available Saturday afternoon.
