Citizens of Brownwood, Precinct 1, my name is Command Sergeant Major Charles R. Harris.  A lot of the community knows me as Chuck Harris. I am a civilian soldier of 27 years currently serving in Afghanistan.

I would like to take a moment of your time to not talk about the War, but rather Bryan Harvey.   It’s an honor and a privilege to be friends and neighbors with Bryan and his family.  Over the last five years I have witnessed Bryan serve the community as a fire fighter, a volunteer, a Christian and most of all a husband and father.

What Bryan has given me and my family since I was called to duty is a peace of mind.  Bryan and his family have given me the ability to focus on my task at hand and not to have to worry about my family back home.  He has given me the ability to take care of all my soldiers that I am responsible for here in Afghanistan.

The Citizens of Brownwood are very lucky to have a man with qualities, morals, values, beliefs and work ethics that are instilled in Bryan Harvey.   These values are what Bryan Harvey brings to the community.   I ask the citizens of Precinct 1 to elect Bryan to serve as their Commissioner of Precinct 1 and the opportunity to share with you what he has given to my family.
