Brownwood Police are investigating the discovery of a body of a female in an apartment in the 1700 block of Third Street.

Officials on scene reported that the body was discovered Wednesday, but has been in the residence between 6 and 10 days.

Law enforcement officials say it doesn’t appear that any foul play is involved.   No other information was available Wednesday afternoon.
