Final Results for May 12th Elections

All results are in for May 12th elections in the races for Bangs City Council, Early City Council, Early School Board, Blanket City Council and Brown County Water Improvement District #1 board.  See full results in the table below as well as and overview of winners as they were released.   Note that results are considered unofficial until they are canvassed.

8:45 Update: Early ISD final results are in.  Cox upsets Mooney place one.  Wade wins place 2 and Russell wins place 5.

8:30 pm Update: Final results in on BCWID and Early city council.  Top three BCWID candidates, Johnny Hays, Dennis Graham, and incumbent Stuart Coleman win.  Early city council winners are Benny Allcorn, BJ McCullough, and incumbent Charles Matlock.

8:10pm Update: Bangs final results are in.  Top three candidates, Larry Williford, Truman Westfall and Richard Perez win. 

7:53 Update: All results for BCWID elections, all ballots from Brownwood have been counted.  Awaiting results from two precincts.

Polls have closed in the local elections for Bangs City Council, Early City Council, Early School Board, Blanket City Council and Brown County Water Improvement District #1 board.

Early Voting totals: The Brown County Elections Office released early voting results just after 7pm on Saturday.  See early voting results below.  Watch for live updates as ballots are counted Saturday night and totals are released.

Note:  Bangs city council, Early city council, Blanket city council, and the Brown County Water Improvement District #1 each have three at large positions to be determined.
