27-year-old Stephen Daggs of Santa Anna, 20-year-old Robert Wayne Forbess of Brownwood, 54-year-old James Kevin Keen of Brownwood, and 27-year-old David Anthony Richardson of Brownwood were taken into custody after the traffic stop around 11:50pm Saturday.

According to the report, the deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle for displaying expired registration.  The report states that the deputy could smell marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle after initiating contact with the driver.  The deputy asked the driver and three passengers to exit the vehicle and conducted a search.

The report states that the deputy recovered 8 hydrocodone pills, a small clear baggy of marijuana, and a glass pipe.  According to the report, none of the suspects wanted to claim responsibility for any of the contraband.

Daggs was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while license invalid, Forbess and Richardson were arrested for possession of marijuana, and Keen was arrested for possession of marijuana.
