Victory Life Academy Brings Home Gold Medals from State Meet

Victory Life Academy athletes brought home honors, including gold and silver medals, at the TAPPS State Track Meet in Waco on Friday, May 4th at Baylor University’s Hart Patterson Track and Field Complex.  The Warriors earned 53 points to place 4th overall as a team.

According to Administrative Assistant Pam Polaski, Victory Life Academy has qualified for the state meet for several years, but this year was the first ever that they have had athletes place so well.

“We’ve gone to state before and had athletes place in the top five, but we’ve never gotten farther,” said Polaski.  “To have 1st, 2nd and 4th places, it’s really exciting about the gold medals!”
