2012 National Police Week is May 13 – May 19 and the law enforcement community will host a memorial service to honor Texas officers killed in the line of duty at 10:00am at the Law Enforcement Center in Brownwood on May 15th, Peace Officer Memorial Day.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend this memorial service to help honor these heroes.

A short, respectful ceremony will be held, which will include several law enforcement agencies from Brown County.   As in the past, the ceremony will include a reading of all officers in Texas who were killed in the line of duty in 2011 and the playing of Taps.
