AgriLifeExtensionHow much of your lawn/turfgrass made it through last year? Do you know how you are going to manage it this summer with the water restrictions? Do you need to just replace it and start over? You can get answers to these questions and any others you might have concerning you lawns on Thursday May 3, 2012. Dr. James McAfee, Extension Turfgrass Specialist from Dallas will be here in Brownwood as the guest speaker for the 2nd Lunch – N – Learn program. The program will be held at the Brown County Fairgrounds located on HWY 377 South towards Brady. This will be a noon time program. It will begin at 12 noon.

Dr. McAfee will discuss turfgrass problems and management. The Lunch – N – Learn program is open to anyone interested. There is a onetime $15 registration fee payable at the door for those that did not attend the first Lunch – N – Learn in April. This is your chance to really learn what we need to be doing / or what not to do in managing and maintaining our lawns and turfgrass. For more information contact the Brown County Extension Office at 325-646-0386.
