Law enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

Tuesday, April 17

*7:16am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Melwood regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had broken the front passenger window to her vehicle and moved property around that was located inside the vehicle. No property was found to be missing at the time of the report, according to police.

*8:04am-Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of W. Depot regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated an unknown suspect(s) broke into her vehicle and stole multiple personal belongings. No arrests were made at the time of the report.

*8:27am-Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of US Hwy 377S regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that he was missing an air conditioning leak detector in an aluminum case.

*10:05am-Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant believed that someone has been using her name, social security number and birthday to gain employment.

*11:10am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Melwood regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle and stole several items of her property. No arrests were made at the time of the report.

*5:03pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of N. Fisk Avenue, the Howard Payne University Administration Building regarding an agency assist. According to the report, the complainant stated that he had found and held some marijuana seeds on April 12th. The seeds were turned into the evidence room for safe keeping, the report states.

*5:30pm-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding an assault. According to the report, the victim stated that while he was at work at the Sweeten Home for Children, 19-year-old Ronald Eddington who is one of the residents assaulted him. Eddington is allowed to stay at the home because he has not graduated from high school at this time according to the report. The victim told the deputy that he and Eddington had a verbal altercation over a radio being removed from the suspect’s room, according to the deputy’s report. The victim then explained to the deputy that Eddington picked up a cup and threw it, hitting the victim in the mouth, which caused an injury that required 4 stitches, the report stated. Eddington was arrested, charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

*5:54pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Streckert Drive, the Nursing and Educational Training Center, regarding a burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the incident took place between the hours of 5:45am and 5:30pm. The front driver’s side window on the complainant’s vehicle was broken out and her black wallet was stolen, the report states.

*7:44pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Fort Worth Street regarding a juvenile problem. According to the report, the complainant was having problems with her 15-year-old grandson. The complainant explained when police officers arrived, that the juvenile had left the residence and that she wished him to be listed as a runaway.

*8:53pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Booker regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person entered his unlocked pickup and took several items including a 12 gauge shotgun.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
