Bunny Run 5K Set for Saturday

BunnyRunLogo2012jGirls Running Wild and The Hope House of the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center (HCCAC) Brown County Satellite Office are holding their “Bunny Run” 5K on April 21st, 2012 at Gordon Wood Stadium.

Registration for the event is $20 (age 18 and over) and $15 (age 17 and under) prior to race day.  The over 18 price on race day will increase to $25.  Race day registration will begin at 7:30 am and the run will start promptly at 8:30 am.   A one mile fun run is also offered for all ages for $10.  The 5K entry fee includes a t-shirt.

Medals will be awarded to the Overall Male & Female as well as the top 3 finishers in the following age groups: Male & Female 5 & under, 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-20, 21-25, 26-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Registration is available online at www.active.com.

All proceeds benefit the Hope House of the HCCAC Brown County Office.  This non-profit organization provides service at no cost to physically and/or sexually abused children and to witnesses.  In addition, the center offers training to professionals and volunteers and promotes public awareness of the issues.  Visit www.hccac.org for more information
