The Brownwood Lions and Lady Lions each took third place in the District 5-3A track and field meet held Wednesday and Thursday at Abilene Wylie.

Brownwood will be sending 23 athletes to the Region I-3A track and field meet as a result which will be held at Texas Tech University at the end of the month.
