The United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) and Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas will host the 2012 Career Day and College Recruitment Fair Friday April 13th from 10:00am-1:00pm with an opening session at 9:00am.  The event will be held at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church (1815 Coggin Ave).

The event promotes education and leadership skills and is in its 7th year in Brownwood.  It is also one of 50 events held nationwide.  Thirty high schools in the Central Texas area have been invited and approximately 1,000 students are expected to attend.

New to the event this year, according to organizers, are employer, community college and technical college exhibitors.  A portion of the event is dedicated to allowing students to talk with employers and schools about the various opportunities available to them.
