Emergency responders were called to the intersection of W. Commerce and W. Austin (in front of the Stripes convenience store) Saturday night with a report of a two-vehicle accident.

A pickup and passenger car collided in the intersection shortly before 9pm and blocked traffic for about 20 minutes while workers cleared the scene.

Initial reports indicate that no one was transported to the hospital by ambulance as a result of the accident.  No other information was available Saturday night.

Brownwood Police, Brownwood Fire Department, and Guardian EMS responded to the accident.
